Very few difference to 90 YM, a frame looked to quell some of the ‘89’s violent headshake and the bodywork offered a flatter rider compartment and smoother movement fore-to-aft. Showa front forks with light modifications. Topping off the package was a switch back to the ’83- ’87 CR’s “orange mist” color scheme and a very un-Honda like coat of white paint for the frame.
